HARD DISK DRIVE. (HDD).

A hard disk drive ( sametimes abbreviated as Hard Drive , HD or HDD) is a non-volatile memory hardware device that permanently stores and retrieves data on a computer. Here the data is stored in a section called platter. HDD types include IDE, Sata1, Sata2, Sata3.These vary depending on the cable being connected and the read / write speed. It reads data at 100MB / s - 133MB / s for IDE, 150 MB / s for Sata 1, 300MB / s for Sata 2 and 600 MB / s for Sata 3.This shows the evolution of hard disk drives from the past to the present. The most commonly used Sata 3 Hard Disk Drive today.

Hard disk drive can be seen from each capacity.  Capacities like 20GB, 50GB, 60GB, 80GB, 120GB, 250GB in the past and now very large capacities like 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, etc. The following sections are found on the Hard Disk Drive.
